1st Round

Progress has commenced!

In only a short handful of weeks a group project of most epic and dizzyingly proportions will be undertaken. The Task is rife with hazards both internally and of course the dreaded critiques of others. However with all that juicy golden togetherness that is team work we intend on making the miles.

The last three weeks have possessed that strange airy perception of floating into the oncoming void. The minds of that of myself and my three respective compatriots; Andrew, Martin and Cairnaghn has been bombarded between with the reality of our task and the short falling of our own limited time and skills.

Ever the keen drawing artist Cairnaghn has sketched several very early introspective images of our main component of our project: that of an eerie, twisted and not entirely trustworthy supernatural tree. I myself have delved into what the exact essence of our piece is; by attempting to garner together potential shots and environments to which we can utilise. Two drafts of the script have been written and hopefully will provide a good launching point for our horror-story to be. Andrew and Martin have pushed themselves into the interesting world of 3d rigging and are keen at work studying movements of real objects and people to provide a backdrop of what is to come. The dynamic duo have also been on hand to provide insight and resolve to that old-trustworthy team environment.

Here are some early images of the stated work:
